Privacy Policy
Kazunori Miura ("I") complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws of Japan, and handles personal information as described below.
This English version is a translation for reference. If the Japanese and English versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.
Personal information I collect
- Your name, organization, email address, phone number, the content of your message, and so on, when you contact me
- The names and contact details of people in charge, and so on, that I receive in the course of work I am asked to do
- The names and titles of representatives, and the names and addresses of their organizations, taken from organizations' websites and published directories so that I can send information about my services
How I use it
I use the personal information I collect for the following purposes:
- Replying to inquiries, and contacting you for that purpose
- Carrying out work I am asked to do (estimates, contracts, production, invoicing, and so on), and contacting you for that purpose
- Sending information about my services (by post and other means)
Stopping mailings
If you no longer wish to receive information from me, please let me know through the contact point below, and I will not send you any more.
Sharing with third parties
Except where required by law, I do not provide personal data to third parties without your consent.
Outsourcing
I may outsource part of the handling of personal data to the extent needed for the purposes above. In that case, I agree on confidentiality and other terms with the contractor and supervise them appropriately.
Security measures
This policy is my basic policy for handling personal data. To prevent personal data from being leaked, lost, or damaged, I take the following measures:
- Rules for handling: I have set out how personal data is collected, used, stored, and deleted.
- Organizational measures: As the person responsible, I check that personal data is handled as set out.
- Personnel measures: When I outsource the handling of personal data, I agree on confidentiality with the contractor.
- Physical measures: I handle devices and documents containing personal data where others cannot easily see them, and protect them against theft and loss.
- Technical measures: I limit the devices used to handle personal data, and protect them against unauthorized access and malicious software.
- Understanding the foreign environment: When I use cloud services run by foreign companies, I take measures after understanding the personal information protection systems of the company's country and of the countries where the data is stored (see below).
I use cloud services provided by US companies (and their group companies) to send and receive email and to store documents. For some of these services, the country where the servers store the data cannot be identified, because the companies state that they may process data in any country where they or their subcontractors have facilities. The candidates are the countries where each company has data centers (for Google, for example, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and several European countries; see Locations of Google Data Centers). I check each country's system on the Personal Information Protection Commission's page 諸外国・地域の法制度 (Legal systems of foreign countries and regions, in Japanese).
For details of these measures, please ask at the contact point below.
Requests for disclosure and other actions
To request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure (including disclosure of records of provision to third parties), correction, addition, or deletion, suspension of use or erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties of retained personal data I hold about you, please get in touch through the contact point below. After confirming that you are the person concerned or their representative, I will respond without delay in accordance with the law.
